At the point where boundaries dissolve — between nature and technology, past and present, reality and vision — metamorphosis becomes both a threat and a promise.
The uncharted gradients of this threshold give voice to the fragile dance of decay and regeneration, revealing the unseen symphony of environmental change — not necessarily following nature’s rhythm, but driven by the catalyst of climate transformation.
Whispers rise from roots and rivers, echoes woven through trembling leaves beneath uncertain skies — they are here, waiting for us to listen and to act.
How do we make the unattainable visible? What form does preservation take when time becomes fluid, when the landscape transforms under invisible yet undeniable forces?
Art emerges as a vessel — not to contain, but to invoke; a code of shadows and light.
The International Festival of Digital Arts of Greece, Athens Digital Arts Festival,
calls upon the pulses of lost forests and the silent dialogues of corals beneath the waning tides to surface into our everyday lives, inviting the artistic community to explore the space between Being and Becoming.
We ask that the fragile threads of our natural heritage — our shared breath, memory, and myth — become both source and mirror. We invite the transformation of loss into creation; to weave stories from fragments and to dream futures rooted in respect.
At the convergence of artificial intelligence, pixels and pulse, code and soil, light and immersion, we seek works that both haunt and inspire — preserving not only what tends toward loss, but also the vital force that calls us to rethink, remember, regenerate, and act.
The International Festival of Digital Arts of Greece – Athens Digital Arts Festival,
in its 22nd edition titled “Metamorphosis”, invites artists, scientists, technologists, thinkers, artificial intelligence, and all forms of creators and participants to submit their works and ideas by (01 February), across its 12 distinct categories.
From nature to light, change becomes art.
