Rite of Spring
Super G reimagines Niko Ruplem through a lens of digital metamorphosis, crafting a creature suspended between the analog and the synthetic. The body becomes a site of transformation, where human form dissolves into something fluid, unstable, and reconfigured. Organic textures—flowers, moss, branching growths—intertwine with hyper-slick, almost artificial surfaces, creating a tension between the natural and the constructed. The figure exists in a liminal state, neither fully human nor entirely digital, caught in a continuous process of becoming. This in-between condition evokes both beauty and discomfort, as identity is fragmented and reassembled in real time. Surrounding mechanical elements reinforce this shift, acting as silent agents of observation or control.

Ouzounis Georgios aka SUPER G, is a multidisciplinary conceptual 3D artist whose work explores themes of digital identity, post-human embodiment, and queer aesthetics. With a background in architecture and digital arts, his practice spans video, 3D-rendered imagery, and editorial direction, often engaging with the intersection of technology and corporeality. A key aspect of his practice involves 3D scanning techniques, navigating the space between analog and digital realities. By capturing and distorting physical forms through digital means, he creates fragmented, hyperreal compositions that question the fluidity of identity and material existence. His artistic journey has included solo and group exhibitions across Europe, with notable group shows at MOMus – Experimental Center for the Arts (Thessaloniki), Athens Digital Arts Festival (ADAF) , Haus N Athens, and international festivals and venues like Bienalle Polska, International Digital Kunst Festival (Stuttgart) and Silent Green Kulturquartier (Berlin). He has hosted his solo show ”Carnal Collapse after 3.a.m.” at OKAY initiative space in Athens and in the Eye Altering Gallery in Thessaloniki.
