Ody Icons

Ody Icons are participating in ADAF, presenting a concert version of their live performances in a more hybrid form. Featuring repertoire from their album POLYDRAMA, as well as reinterpretations of songs that define their artistic identity, they create a unique set that combines—true to their style—their musical explorations into different “marine” territories with a playful theatricality that embraces all aspects of their aesthetic expression.

Under the broad umbrella of pop, they shape a program specially designed for ADAF, where folk and electronic elements coexist, creating a multi-layered, dynamic stage experience.

Ody Icons have been roaming freely through the Greek and Cypriot music scenes since 2019, bridging sounds and aesthetic contradictions with ease.
Under the wide umbrella of pop, the project’s creator and lead singer Odysseas I. Konstantinou met the sounds of the Eastern Mediterranean and a handful of glamorous 1970s icons — and together they shaped the distinctive aesthetic identity of Ody Icons.

Their first official step onto the music scene came in 2021 with the track Working Out My Little Muscles. In 2023, they released their debut full-length album POLYDRAMA, featuring 13 songs in English, Greek, and Cypriot Greek, following the earlier EP drama. A year later, Polydrama: The Remixes arrived, presenting four new reinterpretations of the tracks Arki and Sose by Greek and Cypriot producers.

Since then, Ody Icons have been moving effortlessly between large stages in front of thousands and intimate, room-sized performances, building a world of their own — one that balances theatricality and melancholy, tsifteteli rhythms and the tenderness of community.

Their music feels like a spell: unapologetic, indelible, and liberating. With every live performance, Ody Icons aim to create a space that is open, accessible, and inclusive.
