Dimitris Armenakis is an animation director based in Athens, Greece. In 2017 he graduated from Audiovisual Arts in Corfu and in 2019 he graduated from MA Animation at the Royal College of Art. Since then, he has been working as a freelance animation director for commercials, music videos, short films and documentaries. His latest short animated film, The Synthetic Age, premiered at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and has since been screened at more than 30 film festivals worldwide, where it received the award for Best Greek Film at the Thessaloniki Animation Festival.
