V2.Printing Flesh
V2.Printing Flesh – is a procedural 3D animation that envisions a posthuman metamorphosis: a speculative robotic 3D-printing unit scans and revives a ruined cyborg, reconstructing layer by layer synthetic fleshy tissues interwoven with circuits and structures. A new body emerges as a dynamic hybrid archive. In the era of bioprinting and cyborg augmentation, this animation questions the essence of vitality, identity, and evolution when technology intervenes in the cycle of life and death. What begins as decay and obsolescence transforms into regeneration. E9- Animation , Music by Marco Simioni and Recue
Esstro9 [E9] | MX
Esstro9 a.k.a. [E9] or E9 is a multimedia_digital art project by Eduardo Medina Salazar, based in Mexico City. His practice includes video art, audiovisual performance, installation, multimedia design, and photography. Blending animation with generative art and AI-based techniques, E9 crafts immersive visual experiences that explore storytelling through abstract imagery. His works range from single channel to multi-channel compositions, presented through installations, live audiovisual performances, multimedia design for theater and performing arts, and expanded cinema formats. Esstro9 is inspired by experiences of liminal states—transitional phases that exist between defined conditions, such as life and death or reality and the unconscious. These states, characterized by ambiguity and transformation, offer a unique perspective to examine the nature of existence. In his most recent works Esstro9 explores on how consciousness situates itself within these dual flows and reflects on its materiality, imagining what it would be like if consciousness could be materialized or accessed through a device, thereby questioning the interface between the intangible and the physical. His work has been presented in North /South América, Europe, Middle East or Asia as in the case of : MUTEK.MX/ The Wrong Digital Art Biennale/ UNCLOUD International Fest Utrecht NL/ Mango TV YOUTH2020 – Hunan, China / DA Z – International Festival of Digital Art -Zurich / Generative Art Project Gallery AustinTX, USA/ KINOMURAL 2020, Wroclaw – Poland / Festival Internacional de Arte Sonoro y Arte Interactivo : IN-SONORA V I, Madrid, Spain / International Fest of Liberal Theatre , Amman, Jordan / International Festival of Contemporary and Experimental Theater, Cairo- Egypt, as we l as in the Competition Programs and Screenings of the International Animation & Digital Art Festival CUTOUT Fest MX, and SuperNova Digital Animation Festival, Denver, USA .
